The Operation (Castration and Scrotectomy)

From EunuchWiki

The clinic doesn’t look much like a hospital and the area it is in may look intimidating to European and North American eyes. It is fine!

Questions around the bill seem have occurred with myself and at least one other that I aware of.

Simple castrations and scrotectomies are performed with an epidural; you might hear it referred to as a “blocker”.

You’ll probably have an epidural and a mild sedation. The worse thing about the epidural is the local anaesthetic they give you before putting in the main injection. I wasn’t aware of how the sedative was administered, so it might have been via the IV line.

You will not be able to eat after midnight on the eve of the operation.

Take a book with you; there’s lots of waiting around. I was bored, hungry, and thirsty. I could only do something about the first.

After the operation you may shake a bit (or a lot); this is the adrenaline disappearing.

Take lose fitting clothes that are soft and easy to get in and out of – preferably dark that won’t show stains or damp patches. You might not have full control over your bladder.

The kit might not be the latest, but the care is second to none.

Shave a wide area around your cock and scrotum before the surgery; go as high up as your belly button, the toys of your thighs, and as far south as your butthole and buttocks: the bandages are very sticky and will pull on your hairs when the nurse attempts to change the dressing.

Prescription post operation:

  • Antibiotics & ibuprofen = 1093 pesos (£48)
  • Prescription for scar cream $50
